How Dr.Mark Holterman Plans On Fighting Young Type 2 Diabetes

Posted by Beer30 on

The Sad Reality

Type 2 diabetes is on the rise among the children of America. The end result of this is going to prove absolutely devastating for our generations coming of age. As type 2 diabetes ravages our youth, it will lead to lower life expectancy, impaired immune systems, kidney disease, and other assorted dangers (Angel.co). This is why Dr. Mark Holterman has decided to create the Camp Powerup youth education program. He hopes to use it to give children a better understanding of what they need to do in order to make sure they are healthy.

The Solution Forward

Dr. Mark Holterman’s Camp Powerup is giving kids something they desperately need but won’t find in popular media. They aren’t going to hear anything about the right foods to eat when live streaming and they won’t get much exercise through their games. Through this program, they will be able to get in touch with the important physical side they’ve lost thanks to the unfortunate changes that have happened in our society. It won’t happen overnight, but he’s confident his program will make a serious difference when it’s all said and done. He’s taking his experience as a doctor and his understanding of diabetes to fight against one of the most important health crises of our day.

What Can We Hope For?

The future is simply not looking good for diabetes in general. Statistics clearly show that obesity, a leading factor in the development of type 2 diabetes, is on the rise. We won’t be able to see the results in our immediate future, but it’s quite clear the potential to reverse the trend is there. If his program succeeds, others will likely take the same design and use it to fight against diabetes elsewhere. The result of all of this will be a movement that takes things in the direction they need to go. Every step is a step in the right direction. Dr. Mark Holterman is one of the most respected doctors in medicine today for a reason. He understands what he’s doing and he has a goal in mind.
